Pyramid of Tirana

The 13th Conference on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants of Southeast European Countries (CMAPSEEC 2027) will take place from 17–19 March 2027 at the Pyramid of Tirana, one of the most iconic and innovative venues in Albania and Southeast Europe.

Located in the heart of Tirana, the Pyramid of Tirana represents a unique combination of history, contemporary architecture, innovation, culture, and creativity. Recently transformed into a modern multifunctional center, the venue offers high-standard conference infrastructure and dynamic spaces ideally suited for international scientific events, exhibitions, networking activities, and professional meetings.

CMAPSEEC 2027 participants will benefit from modern conference halls, parallel session rooms, exhibition and poster areas, networking spaces, and easy access to hotels, restaurants, cultural attractions, and public services within the city center.

Tirana is a vibrant Mediterranean capital that combines cultural heritage, hospitality, innovation, and international accessibility. During the last decade, the city has become one of the most dynamic centers in the Western Balkans, offering visitors a lively atmosphere, rich gastronomy, and an expanding academic and business environment.

Albania is internationally recognized for its rich biodiversity and its long tradition in the collection, cultivation, and trade of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs). The country represents one of the most important MAP-producing regions in Europe, particularly for sage, oregano, thyme, lavender, immortelle, juniper, and many other species of economic and scientific importance.

The location of CMAPSEEC 2027 in Tirana will provide an excellent opportunity to strengthen scientific exchange, regional cooperation, and partnerships between academia, industry, producers, policy makers, and international organizations active in the MAPs sector.
