CMAPSEEC 2027 will take place at the Pyramid of Tirana — one of Albania’s most iconic and innovative venues. Located in the heart of Tirana, the venue offers modern conference halls, parallel session rooms, exhibition and poster areas, and networking spaces, with easy access to hotels, restaurants, and cultural attractions in the city center.

About the venue
A variety of hotels and accommodation options are available in Tirana, ranging from international hotels to boutique hotels and apartments suitable for different budgets.
Participants are encouraged to book accommodation early due to the high number of international events and visitors during the autumn season in Tirana. Special conference rates and recommended hotels located near the venue will be announced soon on the conference website.

CMAPSEEC 2027 will take place in Tirana, the capital city of Albania, which is easily accessible through direct international flights from many European and regional destinations. The Pyramid of Tirana is located in the city center and can be reached conveniently from Tirana International Airport “Nënë Tereza” (TIA).

Estimated transfer time to the venue: approximately 25–35 minutes by taxi or shuttle service.

Public transportation in Tirana is mainly based on an extensive urban bus network connecting the city center with all major areas of the capital.
Useful apps: Tirana Public Transport, TIR – Travel by Bus, Moovit Tirana, Tirana Ime. Google Maps is also commonly used for route planning.
Taxi services are widely available throughout Tirana and can be booked directly on the street, through hotel reception services, or via mobile applications. Participants are advised to use licensed taxi operators.
The conference venue, Pyramid of Tirana, is centrally located and within walking distance from major hotels, restaurants and cafés, cultural attractions, government and university institutions, and recreational pedestrian areas. Tirana’s city center is highly walkable and offers a vibrant urban atmosphere suitable for networking and social activities during the conference.
Participants from some countries may require a visa to enter Albania. We kindly recommend checking the official visa requirements at the nearest Albanian embassy or consulate before travel arrangements.
Invitation letters for visa purposes will be provided upon request to registered participants.
The official currency in Albania is the Albanian Lek (ALL). Major hotels, restaurants, and businesses generally accept international credit and debit cards.
Currency exchange offices and ATMs are widely available throughout Tirana.
October in Tirana is generally characterized by mild autumn temperatures and comfortable weather conditions.
Light autumn clothing and a light jacket for evenings are recommended.
Conference participants will also have the opportunity to discover Albania’s heritage, biodiversity, and rapidly developing MAPs sector.
