Call for Contributions
Researchers, scientists, and professionals working in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) are invited to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations, as well as proposals for workshops or thematic sessions related to the conference themes.
The conference welcomes contributions from a wide range of disciplines, including agricultural sciences, plant genetics, ecology, pharmacology, phytochemistry, agronomy, economics, and sustainable food systems research.
Early-career researchers are strongly encouraged to submit contributions.

Posters will be presented in interactive poster sessions, while selected full papers may be considered for publication in a peer-reviewed international journal.
Contribution Guidelines — Oral Presentations
Submission Requirements
- Submission must consist of an extended abstract of up to 300 words.
- Abstracts should clearly outline the research question, methodology, and main findings.
- Submissions must be written in English.
- For jointly authored papers, the presenting author must be clearly indicated.
Review and Allocation Process
All submissions will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee based on:
- Relevance to the conference themes
- Originality of the contribution
- Soundness of the methodological approach
- Clarity of presentation
Based on the review results and the overall programme structure, the Scientific Committee may decide whether a submission will be scheduled as an oral presentation or a poster presentation.
Presentation Format
- Each oral presentation will consist of a 10-minute presentation followed by 5 minutes of discussion.
- The working language of the conference is English.
- Presentations should be submitted in PDF or PPT format.
- Speakers are requested to submit their presentation slides 15 days before the conference and also bring a copy on a flash drive or storage device.
- Each speaker should plan their talk carefully to stay within the allocated time.
- The meeting room will be equipped with a digital projector, screen, laptop, microphone, pointer, and sound system.
- The use of personal laptops is not recommended unless absolutely necessary.

Submission Requirements
- Submission must consist of an extended abstract of up to 300 words.

- Submissions must be written in English.
- The presenting author must be clearly indicated.
Review and Allocation Process
All poster submissions will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee based on:
- Relevance to the conference themes
- Originality of the contribution
- Soundness of the methodological approach
- Clarity of presentation
Presentation Format
- Posters will be presented in thematic poster sessions.
- Selected authors may be invited to give a short poster pitch of 2 minutes.
- All posters will be assigned a poster number in the final programme.
- Presenters should place their posters at the assigned display area at least one hour before the poster session begins.
- Poster dimensions should not exceed 1 m × 1 m.
- Posters must be prepared in advance and brought to the conference by the presenters.
- On-site printing will not be available.
- Presenters are expected to remain at their posters during the session to discuss their work with participants.
- Posters should be removed by the end of the day.
Full Paper Submission
Authors are invited to submit full papers related to the conference themes after their abstracts have been accepted.
All full paper submissions will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee.
Selected papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of a peer-reviewed international journal indexed in Scopus and/or Web of Science, subject to the editorial policies and review procedures of the journal.

- Full papers must be written in English.
- Papers should follow the official conference template and formatting guidelines.
- Only papers based on accepted abstracts will be considered.
- The corresponding author must be clearly indicated.
- Authors may be asked to revise their papers following the peer-review process.

Full papers should be submitted through the conference submission platform or sent to the conference secretariat, according to the instructions provided on the website.
Submission Guidelines

- Abstracts should clearly describe the research topic, objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.
- Authors may submit abstracts for oral presentations, poster presentations, workshops, or thematic sessions.
- The presenting author must be clearly identified for each submission.
- Authors may submit more than one contribution, but no participant may present more than two papers during the conference.
- All submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee based on relevance, originality, methodological quality, and clarity.
- Accepted abstracts may be assigned either to oral or poster sessions depending on the review results and the conference programme.
- Abstracts should be submitted through the conference submission platform.

- The deadline for abstract submission is 25 February 2027.
Authors will be notified of acceptance starting from 15 June 2026.
